Home Page
Welcome to Atherton Pens, an online pen gallery. Please use the page titles to view various types of pens available. The Sold Gallery page provides pictures of several sold pens. These are provided as inspiration for your custom pen ideas. When you find a pen style and material you like, please email your interest (refer to the pen number) and I will provide a quote to provide a similar pen. Because I maintain a very small inventory of completed pen, pens can be customized and produced when ordered, so we must communicate via email to determine your needs. Production and delivery will generally require approximately two weeks, please allow adequate time for special orders. I will make every effort to meet your time frame, but please understand your custom pen order will require adequate time.

All writing instruments shown on this site are hand-turned on a lathe in my home workshop. A Certificate of Originality is available for each pen. Please visit the Certificates page for details.
Every effort is made to purchase materials from and support other US companies. Most of my suppliers are small business endeavors, usually family businesses. Most of the metal components are made outside the US. All the wood, deer antler, poured resins or acrylic pen barrels are personally, hand-turned on a lathe. Finishes are hand-applied, sanded, polished and waxed by hand. All pens are truly, one-of-a-kind. Thank you for your support as I proudly make pens in the USA!
